Nearly 3000 dogs and their people descended upon the streets of New York city this week to participate in the 137th annual Westminster Kennel Club dog show! Always an exciting time of the year for the many pet-friendly hotels and establishments in Manhattan who go out of their way to make the visit safe, comfortable, and enjoyable for all of their canine guests.
We were not able to travel to the show this year as we have in years past, but thanks to some of our trusted Travel Dog pack members, we're proud to play a role in helping to keep the streets of NYC clean so that the well healed residents and visitors of Manhattan don't end up with well soiled heals instead. Today's blog also features a photo of a handsome, sweet, and well behaved 2-year old Rhodesian Ridgeback, Cino, waiting in the lobby of the Affinia Manhattan hotel for his people to pull the car around to take him home after his exciting Westminster debut. From what I understand, Cino charmed the pet-friendly hotel staff members during his visit and faithfully put the Travel Dog waste bags to good use. Thanks to his owners for sharing this pic with us and for their continued practice to pick up after their pets so that we may all continue to enjoy pet-friendly hotels in Manhattan and pet-friendly cities all over the country.
